1. It can hold most things together.
2. Cheap gaffa is not worth the discount as it will a) not stick, b) not stay black
3. If it is easy to tear then it's not proper gaffa
4. You can get double-sided gaffa (I have yet to lay my eyes on it but I am excited anyway)
5. It comes in many colours but I still love the traditional black.
6. You can do almost anything with gaffa, just look at 1001 things to do with gaffa through google.
